Overview

2 Tasty is very similar to Gourmania, another game that blends the hidden object and time management genres common to the casual market. The main protagonist is Libby, a chef that is hired by her friend Cole to work on his bakery. The main game screen shows the cooking area, with lots of food ingredients scattered around the counters and other available surfaces. The main objective is to complete the customer orders that keep appearing as lists at the top of the screen, by collecting all the ingredients and preparing the dishes on time. After gathering all the food, the last step is to cook it by using one of the kitchen appliances, and finally serve the complete order to the waiting patron. A slowly-depleting meter shows the customer patience under each order, with the clients leaving the restaurant in anger if Libby takes too long to prepare their orders. There's a money goal and time limit for each level, forcing the player to quickly raise the required amount before closing time. A mini-game appears after several levels, where the player has to click on the ingredients that are slowly and subtly added to the screen. New and more lucrative recipes become available after successfully completing the challenge. On later stages, new appliances can be bought at the shop to increase Libby's efficiency by reducing the cooking time.
