Overview

Super Fire Pro Wrestling III: Final Bout is the third Super Famicom installment of the Fire Pro Wrestling series. It is a major step up with up to 64 wrestlers, plus 12 custom wrestler slots (not found in the Easy Type re-release), all playable in six different game modes: • One Night Dream Match - This mode can be played as a single, tag team or handicap match with configurable options for the rules. • World Championship - playing as a single or tag team, the player challenges all wrestlers in the roster through the highest victory point score. Getting far in this mode unlocks the Title Match mode, which features the toughest opponents. • Open League - Different from the previous installment is 5e lack of tag teams, with the player required to beat 8 opponents with the highest number of points. • Elimination - With a compliment of five wrestlers, the player challenges an opposing team of five until each wrestler is eliminated from the game. • Tournament - The player as a single or tag team competes against eight opponents, bracket by bracket. • Battle Royale - A new introduction to the series pits four wrestlers together in the ring until only one wrestler is left standing.
