Overview
In Kurokishi no Kamen, players take on the role of a team of four adventurers exploring a haunted mansion. The team comprises a detective, a scientist, a mystic, and a journalist, united in their pursuit of paranormal phenomena. Blending adventure and Japanese-style RPG elements, the game challenges players to solve puzzles and navigate through various rooms while engaging in combat during hostile encounters. Movement occurs in four directions across a grid-based environment, with the party sharing a collective inventory. Players can interact with objects, manipulate their surroundings, and collect items throughout their journey. The ultimate objective is to exorcise the ghostly presence lurking beneath the mansion.
