Overview
Franklin the Turtle: Goes To School is an interactive CD-ROM game based on the Franklin the Turtle children's books and the animatedTV series. This product features the cast of Franklin characters as they invite the user to take part in eight activities that take place around the schoolhouse. Play continues away from the computer with print-and-collect bug and alphabet cards, puppets, and other features. Activities are designed to promote curriculum and social learning: children are encouraged to develop skills in the areas of language arts, math, and science, and to nurture positive relationships with friends. Both open-ended and goal-oriented activities are included, to encourage young minds to explore, create, question, predict, analyze, and reflect.
