Overview

thinkSMART: Chess for Kids aka Schach Attacke is an adaptation of the classic game of chess geared towards children. It is presented as a rivalry between two gangs at a school: the Weißen Westen and the Schwarzen Schafe. Players can choose to be one of the leaders of the two gangs. The rules of chess are taught through mini-games featuring BMX, inline-skating and skateboarding, where a singular elements of chess is implemented, with cartoon-like characters. A diary is used to store all the past lessons until everything has been learned and full games of chess can be played against a human player or an AI opponent.
