Overview

A revamped update of the TurboGrafx-16 game. This story has the player head to a lost kingdom called Westoria which has been sealed off for years, in order to learn of the fate of the people there and close the Great Labyrinth, which is where the monsters of this world is spawned from. The player can create one of three different races (the human-like Izark, the elf-like Ist and the reptilian orcs known as Olff) and pick from six warrior classes (fighter, hunter, monk, thief, shaman and bishop) as well as pick their gender, attributes, color among others to create more than 70 variations. The gameplay mostly consists of exploring dungeons, hacking away at enemy monsters, collecting power-ups and casting spells against enemy monsters along the way. They can also explore the town, buying weapons items and armor to create over 300 variations to help them in their journey. Each character has their own special abilities better known as the "Arts" which there are three of: Weapon Arts which depends of they type of weapons you use and how often, the more it is used the more powerful it will become. Job Arts which depends on the characters job class, these can become more powerful when they are used more often. Likewise, more Job Arts can be obtained by leveling up their Job class. And finally Big Bang Arts which is obtained through the overlapping of the powers from multiple party members, the more party members, the more powerful the attack. There is also multiplayer capability utilizing Ad-Hoc to have three human opponents team up.
