Overview

Halo: Fireteam Raven is a sci-fi fixed-gun shooter developed by Play Mechanix (in conjunction with 343 Industries) and released by Raw Thrills for arcades on July 10, 2018. It is the first arcade game based on the Halo series and features an enclosed sit-down cabinet with unique fixed force-feedback weapon controllers (similar to Jurassic Park Arcade). Set during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, Fireteam Raven has up to four players controlling the ODST squad of the same name (consisting of commander Ethan Graves, communications specialist Marcus Hudson, heavy weapons specialist Victor Ramos, and demolitions specialist Ava Lang) as they fight Covenant forces on the surface of Alpha Halo. In the two-player variant, only Ramos and Lang are playable. The game was originally released as a deluxe four-player model (with two 65" 4K displays side-by-side, with two players using each display), and was later released as a standard two-player model (with only one display). In November 2022, it received a standing four-player model with an extra-large 85" display and all four players using unique light-gun controllers resembling the MA5B Assault Rifle. All models have smartphone support with QR codes, allowing players to track their scores using the Halo Waypoint app.
