Overview

Deadwood is a 1–4 player board game for the Dragon 32/64. Welcome to the Western town of Deadwood. Each player takes turns rolling a dice to move them around town. There are numerous businesses that the player can visit, and hotels and saloons can be purchased. Any other player who lands on these owned locations pays the player rent. Price of gold and cattle vary each turn, and these can be bought or sold at the gold or cattle dealer. The player can gamble if they land on the casino, and owe money if they land on pot luck, the taxman, general store, or trading post. If any player goes into a negative balance they are charged a 10% bank fee each turn. The time for each game is selected at the beginning, but this can be extended.
