Cosmocade

Apple IIGS - Released - 1990

Cosmocade was a rather ambitious project for Brian and Dave, wanting to create multiple games to sit under the Cosmocade banner, they were really pushing the envelope as to the limitations of what the IIGS was technically capable of. It also marked their last work for the IIGS. The first game, Journey to Calibus, is a top down vertical shooter in the tradition of Xevious. This in itself was a bold move, because the IIGS has never been known for smooth scrolling of large areas. Technically, the game comes off 'all right', although gameplay can really drag when there's a lot of action going...

Enigmo

Sony PSP Minis - Released - March 15, 2011

Enigmo is a unique 3D puzzle game where you manipulate slides, bumpers, and other pieces to control streams of flowing liquid. Liquids (water, oil, and lava) fall from "droppers" and will bounce around the walls of a puzzle. The faster you complete each level, the more bonus you will receive, the higher position in high scores table you get.

The player can use radar to locate where the fuzzy bunnies...

Senseless Violence I: Survival of the Fetus

Apple IIGS - Released - 1989

Senseless Violence 1 is an excellent variation on Frogger. Rather than crossing the hazards of a river and motor way as a frog, you're now a baby. This is done for comical value and through Dave Triplett's graphics and animation achieves this superbly, although it may offend some players. The game is played from the keypad. Awww. How cute. Splat!

Xenocide

MS-DOS - Released - 1990

Aliens have taken over the three moons orbiting your home planet, and your mission is to blow them up (not just the aliens, but the entire moons!). Each moon contains four levels incorporating several gameplay modes and perspectives: Level 1 is a first-person 3D space flight simulation, as the player pilots a ship over the moon's surface looking for the entrance to a cave. Level 2 is a side-view scrolling shooter in which the player explores the cave in search of bombs. Level 3 is similar to level 2, except it takes place underwater. Level 4 is the final one; it is a top-down grid-based...
