Overview
Mortal Kombat Project is a fan-made M.U.G.E.N. fighter that improves upon the iconic arcade trilogy and offers up more than 50 playable characters from the MK universe, including the villains.
The game was initially planned for 2009 and after multiple releases and revisions, the "Revitalized 2 Definitive Edition" hit the internet a decade later as the fully finished game. Over the years, the Mortal Kombat Project served as the basis for a host of other games, with many being direct modifications of the inspirational original.
Featuring faster, smoother gameplay with a number of combos, fatalities and other finishing moves unique to each character, the project is a labor of love and dedication to Mortal Kombat lore and its fanbase.
