Systems Editoriale had a small tradition in instant-software (games or programs made quickly in the wake of a major news story, see "instant-book"). Another example was Halley by Nemo Galletti, which came out in conjunction with the clamor caused by the passage of the comet. As for this "Gaddafia" it is not difficult to imagine that it was originally a classic space game, adapted at the last moment by inserting unlikely sprites of Muammar Gaddafi's soldiers and hand grenades falling from the sky.
