Overview

Based on the 1984 movie of the same name, "Give My Regards to Broad Street" lets you play as Paul McCartney. After the master tape for his new album is erased, McCartney has until midnight on Saturday to remix the single "No More Lonely Nights." Players drive around London to find seven band members, each holding part of the tune, and return to Abbey Road Studios. Profiles help anticipate movements, and players visit major London locations or Tube stations. A map of London and a Tube map aid planning. The upper two-thirds of the screen shows a top-down view of the roads and the car, switching to scenes when encountering band members. The lower portion displays the car's on-board computer, showing the next person to meet, the Tube station they will visit, the time remaining, a small map, the nearest Tube station, and remaining time and music parts. Players must avoid crashes, Rath's thugs, and time their arrivals at Tube stations to avoid having their car clamped by parking authorities.
