Crusader

In the year 14XX, the brave Crusader Zarback was heading to the country of Nasali which was the only peaceful country in the chaotic Europe ruled by the wise King Nehaba Nemesis. And his only daughter Tiara was a beautiful woman who was famous throughout Europe. When Zarback arrived in Nasali he saw a ruined castle and a haggard King Nemesis. The kingdom had been attacked by the army of the Demon King Deadlock and Tiara had been taken away. At Nemesis's request, Zarback set out alone to Ikon, where the Demon King lived.

Crusader is an action platform game in which the player controls Zarback who sets out to rescue the princess. In order to do this he has to obtain items in each stage (rod, crown, diamond, keys, etc). These items are necessary to proceed to the next scene, and also to strengthen Zarback's power. This is made difficult for him by snakes, knights, caterpillar-like crawlers, and cowbats that spin around in the air and attack. There are also creepy creatures like roams and hoppers. There's even a fire-breathing dragon. Luckily he can jump and use his sword to fight them. In addition to monsters, there are rolling rocks and walls that close in on him.

If Zarback has everything (or enough) he is able to go to the next scene by using the pony or the broom. In the later scenes it is also possible to grab hold of a fairy and just like with the pony or the broom it will take him to the next scene.
