Overview
Gunners Heart is a 3D third-person rail shooting game developed by EasyGameStation and based on Sky Gunner, a 2001 combat flight simulator developed by PixelArts. Takes place within a steampunk setting, the main part of Gunners Heart's story takes place in the fictional city of Rive. Ventre, the criminal genious, has found a powerful pendant and want to use it to rule the whole continent. The player assumes the role of three ace pilots; Femme, Ciel and Copain who are fighting the mad scientist and his army of malicious midget things called Poulets. The player controls steam aircraft and must destroy enemy ships, tanks and fortress using both vulcan cannon which automatically locks onto mostly targets and numerous secondary weapons which is equipped at the beginning of each stage. Player can also execute barrel rolls, a special maneuver which give a temporary burst of speed to dodge bullets but triggering the heat gauge. Gunners Heart also features two new additional characters and also has new two-player gameplay. Gunners Heart was released at Comiket 69, on December 30, 2015.
