Sega Brawlers Megamix

Sega Brawlers Megamix, named after Sega's first official crossover, Fighters Megamix, is meant to bring together many of Sega's characters into one big brawler game, completely different from what you get from a smash bros game, but I still worked in 2D plain stages like them. It features a roster of 87 playable characters spanning from Sonic, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Guardian Heroes, and many other Sega titles, including guests like Earthworm Jim and Battletoads. These guests were added due to being on a Sega console but largely inactive since then, but some of this has changed not, but it wont effect the game's roster. There are several secret characters in the game, they are unlocked simply by beating adventure mode and when choosing one of the previously locked modes from the menu.
