Overview
A multi-event sporting competition with a highland flair, all published first by Supernova*software and later in the Italian release of Alga Soft #10B.
Highland Games is a series of 1-2 player Scottish themed mini-games for the Commodore 64.
Players compete in a series of 5 athletic events based upon timing and quick movement.* Hammer Throw - Spin as fast as possible and achieve maximum hammer throw distance
Long Jump - Longest jump wins
Caber Toss - Try to flip over a large caber as many times as possible
Weight Toss - Set the height of a bar, and attempt to throw a heavy weight over this
Discus - Spin quickly and attempt to throw a heavy discus the maximum distance
Players receive a score for each event, and the player with the highest score at the end of all 5 events is deemed the winner. All-time highest score for each event is recorded.
