Overview

Quari is a flick-screen platformer and an official conversion of the arcade game Bongo where you play the role of an explorer who has to get from the left of a huge cavern to the right over 27 screens. As you go across each screen, after a short time, a T-Rex appears on the left of the screen and moves after you but does disappear if you make it across the screen. There are various obstacles and creatures that appear on the screen and these need avoiding or you lose one of three lives, and they consist of lava, falling rocks and birds. Treasure is collected on every screen as well and if you get six in a row without losing a life then you get a bonus. The final screen has you capturing the T-Rex in a cage. Two players can play with each player taking it in turns to play when the other player loses a life.
