Overview

Football Power is a 3D football game played between 20 unlicensed European teams for one or two players. The game uses a standing cabinet with rooms for two players simultaneously. There is a bar with a desk that contains a joystick to move the players, and there are multiple buttons. Near the ground there is a football in a bright color that can be kicked. It is tied to the cabinet, but is still slightly loose so it can be kicked freely without the player hurting a foot. The ball uses full three-axis motion to read the kick, both the strength and the direction, in 3D. This mechanism is used for all kicks in the game, both passes and shots, but also headers. The red button on the desk is used for defense to clear the ball or to perform a tackle, and the blue button allows the player to dribble while moving the joystick. This entire mechanic is duplicated for a second player and player stand side by side watching a single screen. Next to a two-player game, single-player games can be done in three difficulty levels: Easy (Training Cup), Medium (European Cup) and Expert (Euroleague). The Training Cup is a pre-season training championship with four teams. There is a single qualifying round and then immediately the final. The European Cup is played with sixteen teams. There are three qualifying matches and then a final. The Euroleague can have up to eleven matches. There are four groups with a four-team league, then three double qualifying rounds and finished off with a final.
