The Raven

The famous detective Sherlock Holmes must solve a complicated mystery, when a controversial physician of the criminally insane invites the master investigator to a small and remote English village. Murder is committed and Holmes starts his investigation to reveal the identity of the villain.

The Raven had some advanced features for its time, recognising adverbs and prepositions + having far wider vocabulary than most. Each location is graphically illustrated and the text descriptions bring together both the humorous and horrible elements of the 19th century.
