Overview
Based on the actual Tokyo street racing scene, Tokyo Xtreme Racer puts players behind the wheel of any of over 25 vehicles, with over 100 different import parts to customize the car to their precise handling or aesthetic desires. Players may change the color, the spoiler, wheels, or any other parts imaginable. Then it's off to the streets, to find someone else crazy enough to battle it out on the asphalt. One flash of the headlights to a likely contender, and it's off to the races.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer offers import car enthusiasts a chance to drive different variations of their favorite cars, and with Import Tuner Magazine's support, there will be a host of opportunities to get this hard-core audience involved. As in real life Tokyo racing, it takes place at night to avoid the glaring eyes of the law, and is fast and furious. Players blaze down the street at over 60 frames a second and challenge friends to fierce split-screen racing action. The innovative "power bar" begins to wane as players lag behind, and it is always an intense ride.
