Overview

Mahjong Sword: Princess Quest Gaiden is a story-driven mahjong game set in a medieval-themed world on the continent of Audores. In this game, princesses and noble ladies from various countries compete in mahjong to obtain the sacred sword. Players control Rutia, a young warrior who must defeat five opponents to achieve glory. The mahjong matches are presented as battles, where animated attacks deplete hit points. Winning games earns money, which can be spent in shops on items that provide bonuses before matches. While the computer version is an adult title, this TurboGrafx CD version has omitted all the nudity scenes from the game.
