Overview

Operation Iceberg: The Battle for Okinawa is a strategy war game based on a battle in World War II where the island of Okinawa was invaded by Allied forces to take over the islands and air bases to help in the defeat of Japan. You play the Allied forces and the computer controls the Japanese forces which has eight difficulty levels (1-8). You view a map of the whole island and you can see icons depicting the terrain, minefields, enemy forces and your own forces. Each player takes it in turns by giving orders given to various units before the computer calculates the results of the orders. The aim of the game is to defeat the Japanese forces and take full control of the island.
