Overview
Kengo is an average guy working at a video rental store. One day, his boss asks him to make an ad for recruiting female employees for the store, hoping that a cute face at the counter might help business. While Kengo is working on the ad on his computer, a cute girl suddenly appears on the screen; this rather flustered and excitable young lady introduces herself as Panic, and before long she appears in the real world and starts working at the video store. However, while she might attract customers, she also attracts trouble, and soon another mysterious lady starts appearing on video screens. Just who are these two girls, and what is their connection?
Panic-chan is a visual-novel style adventure game with a focus on animated sequences; it describes itself as an "OVA adventure" and includes 90 minutes of original animation. Most of the game proceeds in a linear format, with each scene playing out through dialogue and animation; there are occasionally choices of which action the protagonist should take, which will branch the story and lead to different scenes.
