Photo Genic

Photo Genic is a love adventure game in which the player takes the part of a budding professional photographer. The protagonist is skilled at landscape photography, but has been tasked by his editor to prepare a gallery for an upcoming photo contest. The subject for this contest is photos of young girls, and so the protagonist must both find models and learn how to properly photograph them within the one-year deadline before the contest.

The player must determine their schedule for each week; as a professional photographer, the protagonist works five days a week and can use those days to train different aspects of their craft or to work various jobs in order to make money to buy supplies. On the weekend, the player is given one free day to visit locations around town, looking for models and eventually doing photo shoots. There are three different girls to approach, and the player's relationship with that girl will affect both their suitability and willingness as a model. During shoots, the player can choose the background, posing, and framing for the shoot.
