Virtual Kyoutei 2

Virtual Kyōtei 2 is a simulation of kyōtei boat racing, and the sequel to the previous game. It features an official license from the Japan Motor Boat Racing Association, as well as the Racer's Association meaning this version includes the names and stats of over 500 real-life racers contemporary to the 1997 racing season.

There are two main modes available: Eiyū Densetsu ("Hero Legend") is the main career mode, where the player creates a new racer and attempts to win the seven main cups of kyōtei racing; the time trial mode in the previous edition has been replaced with VS Mode, introducing two-player split screen racing to the series for the first and only time. The watch and library modes from the previous game also return, allowing the player to set up dream matches and read about kyōtei basics and strategy.
