Overview

Virtual Volleyball is an indoor volleyball game for one or two players based on official JVA (Japan Volleyball Association) rules. The game is presented in full 3D and viewed from a side-view perspective. There are three modes to choose from: World League mode is a single-player campaign mode to become world champion, Free Play lets the player set up a match between any two teams and any combination of human or computer players, and Tournament mode lets the player set up a tournament bracket for up to eight players. There are eight teams, each representing a different country, and with different strengths and weaknesses. There is also an information section detailing the official JVA rules, a glossary of volleyball terminology, and a manual for how the game is controlled.
