Vampire

Overview

In Vampire, the player controls a vampire who prowls the streets to get his nightly dose of blood. The city is side-scrolling (it wraps around the sides) and has a lot of houses. If eyes are seen at a window, the vampire can knock at the door. Then the victim runs out and flees: the goal is to run after him and suck him dry. Alternatively the victim can also be turned into a zombie which can be controlled independently from the vampire for 30 seconds. After biting the required number of victims, the protagonist can return to the graveyard — failing to to do so until sunrise (6:00 am) means final death.

Besides the time limit, there are three other dangers to look out for: werecats slow the player down, vampire hunters throw stakes which drain blood and raven eggs freeze the vampire for 20 seconds. All of them have a countermeasure: running away from werecats, biting ravens and using zombies to kill vampire hunters.
