Zaxxon

The object of the game is to shoot targets and not run out of fuel. Fuel can be replenished by shooting fuel drums.

The player spaceship has an altitude over the landscape; indicated by both the shadow of the ship and a meter to the side of the screen. Part of gameplay is dodging obstacles at differing altitudes; eventually there are walls with holes which the ship has to dodge and weave through to live.
