Moebius

Moebius is a side scrolling shoot 'em up. It's set on a far away planet where the player takes control of Moebius, a space mercenary that has to battle the forces of The Controller, the ruler of the empire. The player can move Moebius left and right while shooting the various creatures and robots that appear before they crash into him. Each level is a different planet and the aim is to reach a transporter that takes Moebius to the next planet. Every planet has its own inhabitants that has to be fought. After a few levels the player will get access to a jetpack and later a hovercar. Using these cost fuel and when fuel is out they will explode. Fuel is automatically recharged when walking on the ground.
