Tora! Tora! Tora! let the player relive the battles of World War II by way of tactical theaters of war and playing out strategic battles. Exciting cinemas add to the atmosphere and over 50 scenarios will keep armchair generals busy for days. Tora! Tora! Tora! is a strategy / tactical rpg in which the player takes the role of the japanese commander of the Japanese army in the World War II, the game features different tutorials to learn to game mechanics, and different missions. The gameplay is divided into 2 different parts, the first part is to move your units and select a destination to attack, land, etc In this part there are different units like ships, combat planes, etc to assign. The second part is when your army arrives the destination point, there the game changes to a tactical rpg strategy battle since the unit got a limited range of movement and different attacks. The game uses an overview view to show the maps and the main battle but shows a 3d engine for showing the different attacks.
