Overview

Sheila is 1-player arcade game for the Apple II system. The player explores a multi-layered castle in an attempt to rescue the eponymous Sheila from her captors. The castle is designed into multiple mazes filled with monsters who roam the halls, and the player has 1000 time units to rescue the girl. The player is armed with a limited number of spears, which can be thrown to slay enemies. More spears and other items can be discovered by entering the various storage rooms through the mazes. The player has the ability to shrink or increase in size. While small, they take more damage from enemies, but they are able to squeeze through tighter passageways. The player has 100 life points, and when all are lost, they enter purgatory. Here, they have a chance or resurrection and continuing their game, or their body is lost, and they must restart a new adventure.
