War 70

Overview

War 70 is a strategy Napoleonic war game for two players set in the mid 18th century. The game consists of a map of the whole battle area with both players representing a country next to their opponents country. The aim is to to captures the other player's Capital City and hold it for 3 successive days to be declared the winner. Each player has nine armies consisting of infantry, cavalry and artillery units and the player has 4 group moves a turn with each turn taking the equivalent of one day. As the groups are moved, two opposing armies will meet and the screen moves to a closer view of the impending battle. Here each player can use their army's men and weapons to try to defeat the other army and the battle ends when a player is victorious or a player retreats. Each player also has the option to receive the status of each of their armies and the map has a total of 32 locations to move to.
