Alien Attack

Alien Attack is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player controls a small spaceship that moves laterally and fires forwards. Each level is divided into 3 stages. In the first stage, the player tries to blast as many alien ships as possible as they fly past in straight lines. In the second stage, the player must destroy the alien mothership before it reaches the bottom of the screen by shooting out pieces of the ship and hitting the aliens inside the ship. When all aliens are hit, the ship explodes. In the final level, the player can only dodge, and must avoid all incoming asteroids. The player starts with 3 lives, and each level becomes progressively faster.
