Overview

Contains a total of 4 space-themed arcade games for the Apple II by Bill Budge. Asteroid: Which is a clone of the arcade game Asteroids. The player controls a small spaceship, and has to fire upon encroaching asteroids to score points. The player will lose a life if they are hit by an asteroid. The player can choose from 4 different difficulty levels, which sets the number of asteroids and starting lives. Death Star: A Star Wars themed game where the player must fly their spaceship within a trench of the Death Star, while shooting enemy gun turrets and tie fighters. The player gains points by shooting enemy units, but suffers game over if they are hit by enemy fire or the walls of the trench. Tail Gunner: Enemy ships appears 1 or 2 at a time upon a rapidly moving starfield. The player must move their crosshairs, and rapidly shoot the enemy ships before they disappear off the screen. It is game over when 10 enemy ships have escaped. Solar Shootout: A 2-player game, where individual players choose two ships rapidly orbiting a star. The players can change their orbit distance around the star causing acceleration/deceleration of their ships, while they attempt to shoot the opposing player's vessel. The game is over when a player has been shot 10 times.
