Bubble-Head

Overview

Bubble-Head is a 1-player arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls the aforementioned Bubble-Head, who moves in the 4 cardinal directions within a maze. A number of of brown tinged creatures run about the maze trying to avoid the player. When the player catches a brown creature, it turns blue and begins to hunt the player costing them a life if caught. The goal is to avoid the blue creatures while turning all the brown creatures on the stage. The maze includes blue and brown doors which can only be travelled by the correct colored monster. There are also dotted doors which only the player can cross. A bonus counter ticks down as the level progresses, with the player receiving more points for finishing a level quickly. The player starts with 5 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.
