Astrolab

Overview

Astrolab is the second graphic text adventure from a retro series by Eckhard Borkiet for the Commodore 64. The games are based on a so-called 2 word parser system and have been optimized for simplicity and speed of operation. Even back in the mid-eighties the games were partly programmed by eb but never finished.

It was an arduous journey through space that finally brought you here to this inhospitable place, on the edge of the solar system. The order seemed to be very lucrative this time. Your goal: An old space station of the type Astrolab, whose task is to examine rocks from a nearby asteroid field. The station, however, had not answered for several weeks and radio questions remained unanswered. Now she lies before you, in the infinite space and seems to be completely deserted. Your mission is to enter the station and unravel its mystery ...
