Overview
Phenomedia's Moorhuhn franchise makes its first apperance on a console with this title closely based on the original advertisement game.
The player's goal is to shoot Moorhühner for points within 90 seconds, moving a crosshair along a horizontally-scrolling landscape. After every eight shots, the gun must be reloaded. Birds that are farther away gain more points while shooting down balloons or planes deducts points. The game contains three different landscapes (compared to just one in the original) and also introduces bonus items. These items are carried by some birds and are activated when shot. They include weapons like a machine gun or a gun with a wide spread as well as time bonuses.
The game can be played for high score (a high score table is available) and in a tournament mode, which challenges the player with a higher score to reach in each subsequent stage.
