This is a bonus disc that was provided in special edition copies of .hack//G.U. Vol. 1: Rebirth. This disc contains a number of videos that filled in the backstory of the .hack franchise that preceded .hack//G.U. These were the research notes and records compiled by one lead programmers behind the second revision of the video game The World, describing the games' setting.
