Overview

This is your very typical pseudo-3D maze escape game that was pretty common in the late 70s and early 1980s. This one was developed for the ZX Spectrum by Tim Gilberts and published by Gilsoft in 1982. The player's task is to reach the exit as quickly as possible before the price of the collected gold bars reaches zero. At the beginning, the player chooses the difficulty level of the task, on which the initial value of the gold bar depends. The more difficult the level, the lower the value. At levels 4-9, a preview of the location of all gold bars, the exit and the player's place in the maze can be enabled. Each bar collected slightly increases its value.
