Overview
"Top Card" and "Royal Pair" are two electro-mechanical pinball machines released by D. Gottlieb & Co. in 1974.
"Top Card," introduced in August, is a single-player game with a card and gambling theme, featuring two flippers, three pop bumpers, four slingshots, and thirteen standup targets. Designed by Jeff Brenner with artwork by Gordon Morison, it had a production run of 3,100 units and is known for its straightforward gameplay.
"Royal Pair," released in October as the add-a-ball version for export to Italy, shares the same design and features but focuses on awarding additional balls to extend gameplay.
