A simple version of the complex turn-based strategy game played with small stones, seeds, beans or tokens and rows of holes or pits in the earth, a board or other playing surface. This version created by Bruce T. Robinson. The objective is usually to capture all or some set of the opponent's pieces and dates back to ancient Egypt or earlier.
