Dominions II: The Ascension Wars

Overview

It is the time of the Ascension wars, when powerful creatures of several races and origins battle against one another. The prize itself is nothing short of god-hood and dominance over the land. But for any one to achieve this, they must overcome the other Pretenders and convince the world that they are indeed the creature to worship. Dominions 2: The Ascension Wars is a 4X turn-based strategy game played on a world map. Starting from a randomly generated or pre-designed map, players choose from among 17 civilizations and the avatar "pretender god" creature with which to conquer all others. From this new kingdom, players manage resources in their provinces and assemble armies (a commander, and any additional units) who are able to move between the provinces, conquer new lands and perform other tasks.
