Overview
Years after Red and Gold defeated Team Rocket in Kanto and Johto, the group resurfaces in the Solia region, plotting to capture Celebi. A 15-year-old boy receives his first Pokémon from Professor Palm and begins his gym challenge across Solia. After earning his first badge and traveling through DarkWoods, he encounters a mysterious green Pokémon and faints. In darkness, he overhears Team Rocket discussing their plan to capture Celebi before waking back in the forest, hinting at their return and the start of a new conflict.
