Countless wars have been fought over the unique and enigmatic allure of sushi.

A number of intrigues have centered around the search for the highest quality tuna,

and there were even those who sold soy sauce poured into custard and called it eel.

Hordes of men and women had been burned at the stake for offenses such as mistaking

garden and Japanese eels, or not ordering shime with fried eggs.

The year was 1887.

After a period of unprecedented chaos, sushi was finally banned, and the Royal Edomae Agency

was established under the strict control of the monarchy. However, this could not quell the

hunger of the people, and so a collective of underground chefs began to circulate sushi on the

black market. The underground sushi production movement finally became an antimonarchy

countermovement and exploded into a bloody feud with the Royal Edomae Agency.

It's been one year since the conflict began. On a dark and stormy night, a young farm girl named

Revaia sheltered an underground sushi chef. At that time, the chef, who was on death's door,

opened the door of wisdom (Hezed) and bestowed upon her the ability to make sushi (Dagon Mishu).

With this, the sushi makers' secret weapon, Revaia's fate was to be pursued by the Royal Edomae Agency.

To put it plainly, it was a huge pain.
