Overview

Game-Ware is a multimedia "digital magazine", and the first release in the quarterly series of the same title. This first volume includes several playable game demos and original minigames: • Series of Dreams, a short branching text adventure where the player is a young man named Akira, who must make choices as he converses with two women: his girlfriend Shoko, and a mysterious girl named Megumi. • Pipit Boy no Daibōken, a puzzle game where the player must guide a boy to collect all the gems on each stage; the boy follows whatever path he walks along, and the player rotates tiles to direct him around the map. • Ejihon no Tantei Jimusho, a conversion of a "spot the different" style arcade game for up to four players where the player is shown an image filled with many kanji characters and must locate the one that does not match. • Telecom Town, a simple side-scrolling action game sponsored by Nihon Telecom in which a boy named Mamoru must collect stolen telephone cards to save the titular Telecom Town. • HG Cup, an action game sponsored by cosmetics company Shiseido in which the penguin Rocky must use hair gel and mousse to find all the checkpoints and clear the course as quickly as possible. • A playable demo of Digital Pinball: Last Gladiators which includes a single table, "Warlock". Also included is a variety of multimedia content such as creator interviews, game previews, and an art gallery.
