Maboroshi no Black Bass

Maboroshi no Black Bass is a cartoony fishing game set in a fantastical dream world. The player controls a young boy who meets a fairy in a dream, and is told that he won't be able to wake up and return to the real world until he catches the titular black bass. The main story mode is divided into stages, which each takes place in a different area and has a time limit and a specific target to catch. New lures, as well as hints and other information, can be purchased from a shop, and various special moves can even be used to assist the player in catching fish. The game also includes a simplified "Kids Mode" consisting of only three stages, meant to help fishing game beginners learn to play.
