Grandread

In the distant future of the year UC 1715, Earth's solar system is suddenly attacked by an unknown alien force. A young cadet named Nagumo is on board one of the attacked ships, but the ship's crew are saved by a relic of a mysterious ancient civilization that had been hidden on Jupiter: the Grandread-class starship Dragonalis, which has a will of its own and recognizes Nagumo as its captain. The last hope for humanity now falls under the command of of this young man.

Grandread is a space opera hex-strategy game in which the player controls fleets of space battleships in turn-based combat. The player controls many ships at any given time, which each have varying capabilities and weaponry, and can even move multiple ships into a formation to control them as a single unit. There are multiple factions interacting in the story, and depending on the player's actions it is possible to ally with or even recruit many enemy units, and the game includes multiple endings and branching story paths.
