Joe Thiesmann's Pro Football is an American football game for the Apple II. Games comes complete with a large in-game coaching strategy guide, explaining the rules of football, and the strategies employed by coaches. After reviewing he extensive guide, the player can start a game of football. Within 30 seconds, the player must choose their play, whether to focus on the left or right, and which of their players to pass to. The player gets 10 downs per side, with a total of four 15 minute quarters during each game. All gameplay is graphically displayed on the screen on a scrolling field.
