Wind: A Breath of Heart

Wind: A Breath of Heart (ウインド ア ブレス オブ ハート) is a visual novel for the Sega Dreamcast. The game follows Makoto Okano (丘野 真) as he returns to his hometown after 10 years away. Before he left, he and Minamo Narukaze (鳴風 みなも) made a promise to each other to meet again. She told him she will keep on playing the harmonic and even though he may be too far away to see it, the wind will carry the melody, hopefully all the way to his place.

Ten long years have passed, and together with his younger sister, Hinata Okano (丘野 ひなた), Makoto returns to his hometown. One evening, after school classes, he hears a melody that attracts his attention, which in turn leads him to the roof where he sees a girl with a purple hair, playing a harmonica. Not realizing at first who she is, the truth soon becomes clear that the girl is none other than Minamo, and promise of their reunion has been fulfilled via serendipity, but that is just the beginning of their story.
