Special Tee Shot

Overview

Special Tee Shot is a neat little gem: it's what Kirby's Dream Course was originally going to be, featuring an almost entirely different set of gimmicks and overall more challenging courses.

The game came very close to receiving a North American release in 1992, making an appearance at that year's Consumer Electronics Show and even getting an official box design. These plans were scrapped during the transition into Dream Course, and the original game wouldn't be released until late in the Super Famicom's lifespan as a Satellaview exclusive.
